Victor De Bie

Firstly, I gotta say that this would have made it to the blog even if he wasn’t a client. We’re just lucky to be working with such talented people. Victor De Bie is a super nice guy and extremely talented. He is currently over in London celebrating the opening of his joint exhibition “Umfeld“  with supermodel Iekeliene Stange. Check out the article in Dazed Digital here.

The iLLUSEUM

Weird. Strange. Wonderfully beautiful. The iLLUSEUM hosts a varied agenda of art, performance and the unimaginable. A surprising place that’s definitely worth a visit. Witte de Withstraat 120, Amsterdam.

Monkey

When Monkey last visited me he had this large sketchbook under his arm. Inside it was filled with a collection of heavily tattooed page three girls that he had amassed while living in London and illustrations he had made. “Why the girls?” I asked him. “Practice” he replied. While I grunted back in reply I decided to have a closer look and noticed that Monkey had painstakingly drawn the tattoos on the girls himself. Above is a close-up of his handy work. He also decorates the streets of Melbourne with his beautiful art.

Naad Artworks

One of my favourite pieces from one of my favourite artists and good friends Daan of Naad Artworks. We were lucky enough to have her in our studio for a couple of weeks until the new owner collected her. I was so flattered when a client who visited our studio asked if it was me! Ha…haaa. No it’s not Dolly, but Rogers really likes it.

Galeria Schaap

When I’m not at our playground on NDSM, you’ll usually find me hanging out at my second home Galeria Schaap, Utrechtsestraat 95. Set in the milieu of an old butcher’s shop, we’ve held many superb events here including exhibitions, concerts, open mic nights, fashion shows, poetry readings, dj events, live theatre performance, film screenings and lots more. If you haven’t been to a party at Galeria Schaap, unfortunately you’ve missed out. I’ve had people describe our parties as the best thing since the RoXY burnt down. We’ve been occupying the space as anti-craic for over a year, however unfortunately I must report that our unofficial event license has been officially revoked. But don’t fret as we will continue to organise more fabulous events, but at other locations instead. The galeria remains open for the public and you’re more than welcome to drop by for a visit and experience our magical little world. Beeh beeh!
