The best thing about having a snowboarding client is that you have to go snowboarding! Catchin’ a plane at 7 am is not really our cup of tea but to go the Swiss Alps for a weekend in the snow, we’ll make an exception. Dolly Rogers and friends packed their bags for the ultimate snow experience crammed into 3 days. So that means skiing, snowboarding, tobogganing, curling, fondue, saunas and a helicopter tour of the Alps for one unlucky rider. The highlight was the expedition from Switzerland into France and back again, stopping off for “un verre de vin” in Avoriaz. With some cool french words, one broken wrist and a healthy tan we’re back in Amsterdam!
We’re now busy looking for a client in Brazil.
I’m Paul Orzoni, 23 years old, from Paris and the newest addition to Dolly Rogers!
I’ve just graduated in multimedia and interactive design from Gobelins, l’ecole de l’image. I’m here to improve my design and communication skills and share my talents with the coolest studio in town. I’m also a DJ and music composer and can’t wait to spin some tunes in this city! You can check my tracks here and download my last mix there.
Ps: By the way I’m also looking for a room, can anyone help?
A couple of months ago I attended an opening at the new Streetlab project space at Meneer De Witte and was impressed by the paintings of UK artist Joe Holbrook. So when I heard that he was having a solo exhibition at Sid Lee Collective I was there in a flash. Tender ‘N Tasty is a collection of eight new paintings, four drawings and the coolest rubbish bin I have ever seen. It closes 31 March so get yourself down there now!
